Temba Bavuma Ruled Out of Zimbabwe Test Series, Keshav Maharaj to Lead South Africa

South Africa will head into their upcoming two-Test series against Zimbabwe without regular captain Temba Bavuma, who has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury sustained during the World Test Championship final against Australia.
Bavuma’s absence comes after his pivotal performance at Lord’s, where he scored a determined 66 in the second innings despite the injury. His crucial third-wicket partnership of 147 runs with centurion Aiden Markram was instrumental in South Africa’s five-wicket triumph.
