Pakistan Is Set to Play Three T20Is in Bangladesh as Hosts Announce July Series Schedule

Pakistan is set to play a three-match T20I series against Bangladesh later this month, with all fixtures scheduled at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. The Bangladesh Cricket Board confirmed the itinerary on Wednesday, marking the continuation of bilateral T20I engagements between the two nations.

The series will commence on July 20, with subsequent matches scheduled for July 22 and July 24—all at the same venue in Dhaka. This follows Pakistan’s clean sweep over Bangladesh in the T20I series held earlier this month on home soil, setting the stage for a highly anticipated rematch as the hosts look to bounce back.

Beyond the competitive narrative, the series will also serve as valuable preparation for both teams in sub-continental conditions ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. With the global event drawing nearer, both sides will be eager to fine-tune their combinations and evaluate key players in pressure situations.

Bangladesh, currently on a comprehensive tour of Sri Lanka, are juggling multiple formats. The tour includes two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is. The Test series opener in Galle ended in a draw, while the second Test is underway in Colombo. This Sri Lanka tour also marks the beginning of Bangladesh’s campaign in the new ICC World Test Championship cycle.

Bangladesh vs Pakistan T20I Series Schedule:

  • 1st T20I: July 20 – Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur
  • 2nd T20I: July 22 – Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur
  • 3rd T20I: July 24 – Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur

With Bangladesh seeking redemption and Pakistan aiming to maintain momentum, the series promises competitive cricket and crucial insights ahead of a packed international calendar.
