Pakistan Super League 2022: Ahead of Sunday’s player draft, all 6 franchises announced their list of retained players. While Babar Azam was retained by Karachi Kings, Shahid Afridi got the backing of Quetta Gladiators.

Among the 6 teams, Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars retained the full quota of 8 players while the other two, Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators retained 7 players each. Each squad can comprise a maximum of 18 players.
All eyes will now be on the PSL 2022 Player Draft which will take place at the National High Performance Center in Lahore on December 12.
425 players from 32 countries have registered for the draft and the teams will have one Right To Match card each to get back one player of their choice during the draft on Sunday.
